What onlinesurvey.ai is
Most survey tools are form builders with a chart view bolted on. They are fine until the questionnaire has structure: a screener at the door, branching that depends on an earlier answer, quotas that close a cell when it fills, a block that repeats once per brand the respondent named.
onlinesurvey.ai is built for that second kind of study. Screeners, branching, display logic, quotas, carry-forward, looping, piping, randomization and scoring are all authored as plain if-then rules, on every plan, with no expression language to learn. The positioning is deliberate: deeper than a form builder, faster and cheaper than the enterprise research suites.
AI is infrastructure here rather than the pitch. It drafts a whole survey from a plain-English brief, edits any question from a one-line instruction, and reads the results back as narrated insight. None of it replaces the author's judgment, and every AI edit is shown as a proposal you keep or discard.
How it is built
A published survey is frozen
Publishing compiles an immutable, version-pinned snapshot. Authors keep editing the draft while respondents read the frozen version, and a session stays on the version it started on for its whole life. That is what lets wave four of a tracker stack against wave one instead of colliding with it.
The preview is the real thing
The builder and the respondent run the same fill engine. A preview is not an approximation of what a respondent will see, it is the same code producing the same screens, which is why testing a survey before it goes live actually tells you something.
Your data leaves in your format
CSV, Excel, SPSS .sav and a full data dictionary, with values as labels or codes, loops wide or long, and no size at which an export is refused. Exports are not plan-gated.
The tool does not second-guess the author
The platform refuses nothing about the content of a study. It will not block publishing because a rule looks unusual or an option list looks short. Our surface is the tool working; what you build with it is yours.
